Meet the Team

  • JESSICA WILLIAMS

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    BHSc (Physiotherapy), Dry Needling (PAANZ)

    Jess is a devoted physiotherapist with a passion for health and wellness that stems from growing up in the sports and fitness industry of Taupo in the central North Island. With a firm belief in the importance of exercise for not only rehabilitation but also general wellbeing. Following her studies in exercise science and business. Jess completed her Physiotherapy degree at AUT University and has never looked back. Her dream to create a space, which encompasses both her love of fitness, rehabilitation and supporting others was fulfilled when she created The Rehab Studio.

    She has travelled internationally with the New Zealand Cross Whites and is currently the physiotherapist for the North Shore Tigers AFL Team and Silverdale Rugby Premier Team.

  • VIC MACHIN

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    BHSc (Physiotherapy)

    Victoria graduated with a Physiotherapy degree from Auckland University of Technology in 2021. Her award-winning research on hamstring loading and EMG analysis reflects her strong commitment to evidence-based practice. Her passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy was inspired by her own journey through ballet, long-distance running, and hip injury rehabilitation, as well as her involvement in her grandfather’s stroke recovery.

    A firm believer in strength-based rehab, Victoria is also a competitor in the 2023 WBFF Australian bodybuilding competition.

    She currently works with the Northshore Tigers Premier Rugby League and West Coast Rangers Premier Women’s Football teams, and has previously supported Silverdale U21 Rugby Union. She enjoys helping young athletes build performance and longevity in sport.

    Victoria takes a collaborative, individualised approach to rehab, helping patients rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence—so they can live without limitations.

  • SARAH LOWN

    PHYSIOTHERAPIST

    BHSc (Physiotherapy), PGD (Western Acup), MHSc (Manipulative Physiotherapy)

    Sarah has 10 years of experience in private musculoskeletal-based clinics where she has treated a multitude of different injuries in all age groups. With the completion of her Masters in 2011, Sarah is specialised in Western Acupuncture & Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She specialises in sports injuries but is also interested in spinal and lower limb injuries. Sarah has a special interest in sports especially rugby (league, union and sevens), tag, touch, netball and basketball. She has worked with athletes both in an individual and team environment.

    Sarah is currently the physiotherapist for the Hibiscus Coast Raiders Rugby League team.

    Sarah is an experienced sports physiotherapist having worked with the NZ Tall Ferns, NZ Lacrosse Men’s team, NZ Tag, Auckland NPC Women’s Rugby, North Harbour Women’s Touch Rugby & Iron Man Contenders and Tri-Athletes.

  • BRITTNEY GRANT

    Brittney arrived in New Zealand this year and successfully gained registration as a physiotherapist. Brittney began her journey as a physiotherapist in Canada back in 2022 after completing her Masters in Physical Therapy at the University of Alberta. Brittney is a kind soul, whose passion for patient centred care is evident in her personalised approach to injury management and rehabilitation. Brittney combines evidence based practice, manual therapy skills and exercise prescription alongside clinical reasoning to provide the best approach to physiotherapy care.

  • MADDIE STAPLETON

    Maddie is quite possibly the most important member of our team. As our amazing receptionist, she’s the first friendly face you’ll see when you walk through the doors. With a warm smile and a can-do attitude, Maddie is here to make sure your experience at The Rehab Studio runs smoothly—from your first phone call to your final appointment.
